NEW: Record declined items with a single click
Here’s another top-requested Neo® Software feature we’ve checked off the list: now you can easily record when clients decline a product or service. That information will be added to the patient record with the option to print on the estimate or invoice you share with the client.
  • Items on the estimate or consultation can be declined from the menu button; once declined, the item drops to the bottom of the page, where you can enter the reason the client declined it.
  • Client changed their mind? Just click the Revert button, and the item appears back on the estimate or consultation.
  • A history of declined items appears in the patient record on the Consults tab; items are in a contrasting color for visibility. And new filters have been added so you can easily sort by invoiced items only as well as declined.

Your questions answered
Q: I want to set up additional printers to cloud print but forgot my Neo Cloud Print password. Where can I find it?
A: For users with the Branch Manager permission, in Neo, you can find your Neo Cloud Print username and password in Administration > Cloud Printers.

If you are on the Neo Cloud Print login page, you can click the Can’t access your account link to get directions on how to find your login information.

Q: A client changed their mind and decided they wanted a diagnostic test that was declined. How do I add the diagnostic product back to the consultation?
A: If the declined diagnostic product was saved to the Declined Product/Service area on the consultation, click the Revert button ↺ on the declined product line. This will add the diagnostic product to the next available product line.

You can also search for and select the product on the next available product line.

Note: When an ordered diagnostic product (IDEXX Reference Laboratories, IDEXX In-house Diagnostic, IDEXX Web PACSTM, Antech) is declined, the order is cancelled in Neo. When you revert a diagnostic product back to the consultation, you will need to order the diagnostic again.

See Decline products on estimates and consultations for more information.
